Welcome | A Memorial To Greg Cox

Cox-Lyle is a non-profit program that promotes positive personal growth and individual development. While we use boxing as the nucleus of our program, our efforts are more focused on 7 basic life skills that we use to foster personal growth, personal maturity and personal achievement. The 7 skills which we adopted through the leadership of Richard Steele that make up our foundation are:

1. Employability Training

2. Preparing for College

3. Drug Prevention

4. Conflict Resolution

5. Nutrition and Health

6. Self Esteem/Self Respect Training

7. Time Management.

Our focus is not to develop boxers, but rather to develop winners in life. However, through our program we have produced multiple regional and national champions as well as several elite professional contenders. Cox-Lyle has a proven track record of dramatically impacting youth and the areas in which they live. Our program has a reputation for increasing grades, improving attitude and family life, promoting responsibility and lowering crime. We have been a pillar of strength and hope in the communities where we have served. If you feel that Cox-Lyle may be right for your community, do not hesitate to contact any of our program directors. Your interest and efforts may be the start to what’s needed to make a real difference in your community and Cox-Lyle wants to help!
